More and more
organisations are turning to the Project Management Institute’s (PMI®) Guide to the Project Management Body of
Knowledge (PMBOK™) and Project Management Professional (PMP®) as source and evidence of project
management excellence. Very few project managers can walk into the
PMP Certification Exam and pass it without considerable preparation… This
programme is designed to assist you in mastering the contents of the PMBOK™
Guide and understand how it fits into PMI® terminology and
context, and prepare you for the PMP® Certification Exam. This
programme summarises the contents of all the recommended test preparation
within the context of the PMBOK™ Guide and addresses all topics covered in
the PMP®
Certification Exam. You will have multiple opportunities to test the
application of your knowledge through sample questions. Upon completing this programme, you will be ready to sit for the PMP® Certification Exam. The PMP® Certification Exam is administered by PMI® at numerous locations internationally. |

Manager Methodology While
there will be some degree of lecturing, the main emphasis is on the development
of awareness and skills for taking the examination through the extensive use
of exercises, practice multiple choice questions (MCQs) and participative
discussions. You will have access to
the training facilitator in an electronic support group and MIM web community
designed for mutual benefit and further networking amongst the PMP® certified
and candidates. Besides keynotes and practice MCQs, a PMP®
Exam Preparation book will also be provided to all participants. This unique combination developed at MIM
is based on addressing the needs of PMP® Exam candidates as busy
project professionals who are studying part-time. You will
be encouraged to share your work experience and apply the principles and
techniques to your work situations. Specific models and techniques will be
introduced and applied during the various activities. Strong emphasis shall be placed on the
transfer of practical skills for effective contribution to project
